The Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley just might be the coolest most insightful, brilliantly written thing I've ever read. It basically chronicles his experience with mescalin and how it changed his perception of reality.. Whats cool for me is you can basically replace meditation for mescalin (funny but true) and he nails it. Ive always been fascinated by consciousness and our extremely limited and narrow view of the entirety of it all and this is a bullseye for me..
