Bubba arrested in FL.. (minor drug charge)
Bubba is one of my favorite artists Ive ever worked with.. I remember spending alot of time in Athens GA getting to know his friends and family before Ugly was put out. (lots of drinking and smoking) He was everything you want an artist to be.. a perfect combination of confidence and humility.. I havent spoken to him in years, he went on to have a huge hit with Ms FatBooty in 2006 after he left Interscope.. He has his issues like we all do which hopefully gets him writing again.

Eminem "Underground" live last night
Show was amazing.. album is out and doing really well.. If you have not listened to it yet do you self a favor and sit down with a pair of headphones and listen to who i consider the best lyricist ever... if you have ADD then go right to Hello, Stay Wide Awake, Medicine Ball and Underground... shit "My Mom" is great too... And Bagpipes.... and Same Song and Dance..

Eminem hugs the auto industry
To show solidarity with his struggling hometown, Eminem will fly 200 laid-off Detroit auto workers to Los Angeles when the Relapse rapper stops by the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show for an interview and performance this Friday, May 15th, the first of three nights the rapper has booked on the late-night show. According to the Detroit Free Press, the rapper will also invite the 200 workers and a guest to a secret show he’s staging in the Motor City next week.

Rocawear the Sneaker
Im so torn on these.. truth is I would never rock them but Im not mad, they are kinda hot... I guess it depends on what the goal was.. If it was to get into the malls of america (which is where the money is) then I get it.. But if this was an attempt to get into the "sneaker game" theres little chance... I love Jay but Rocawear is still stuck in the Ecko, Akademics, Sean John soup, might of been smarter to create an offshoot brand that can stand on its own.. Also while these are clean they look like any number of Clae or Supra joints that have been out for months..

With Eminem recently re-entering the Hip-Hop world thanks to an upcoming May 19th album drop titled Relapse, Marvel Comics’ latest real-life to comic book transformation features the notorious Detroit lyricist as he teams-up with the super hero synonymous with heavy artillery, The Punisher. I took this post from paulrosenblog.com which is a site you should be checking out for 2 reasons.. 1 its good and 2 its run by one of the smartest people i know in the business... On to AM.. he started his new gig at Rain in Vegas which means he collected yet another big ass check for doing what he loves.. Hes the one and only reasons my wife and I EVER go out anymore...

Deep thought
I always seem to hit a crossroads with this site since my opinion and point of view isn't the muscle I want to flex anymore.. In fact real strength would come from letting go of my commentary and seeing the similarities as opposed to exploiting the differences.. That's the person that left me hungry and unfulfilled.. A false sense of opinion entitlement or even worse a conviction that I somehow have the answers for others to follow.. Its a scary slope for me and one I would rather leave behind. There's no growth or strength there although my ego obviously thinks otherwise.. I now know without a doubt that the stronger my point of view the less I'm alive. Sure that goes against what a lot of people believe at their core, its usually twisted into some type of honor or pride as if we are stuck in our own version of "Braveheart." Our "story" owns us and many cling to it until we die.. We blame our heritage or our geography, our religion or our parents but in the end its all a copout and a filter that blocks out life as it actually is.. Before this is taking the wrong way, Im not saying its bad to have opinions or points of view, thats called being human.. what i am saying is, for me at least, its bad when the opinions or points of view HAVE YOU. Only you can know the difference..
I feel myself evolving and its amazing to be able to acknowledge what doesn't fit anymore without mental noise stifling the growth.
