A new University of Texas/Texas Tribune survey shows just how destructive a politicized right-wing curriculum can be. A large number of Texans polled said they still don’t believe in evolution and are convinced that humans and dinosaurs co-existed. (from thinkprogress.org) This is the same type of mentality that denies Global Warming because its snowing on the East Coast. Some of these people have college degrees and are in Congress.. Mind boggling shit.. and scary for our future. And the similar thread through it all is religion that promotes the literal interpretation of that book.
